Yes, you, with your smug little web addresses, fancy search engines, and gloriously unfiltered opinions. And do you know what? I'm jealous!</span> <span style="font-family: georgia;">You see, I've seen the future. Not only will you no longer exist, but man will soon be ruled by apes!</span><br style="font-family: georgia;"><br style="font-family: georgia;"><span style="font-family: georgia;">*Cough* Those are the two big things I took away from the 1968 classic. No internet and ape rulers. And then I realized, due to my being born in 1986, and therefore oblivious to all things prior, I failed to see that the internet of today was not around in '68.</span><br style="font-family: georgia;"><br style="font-family: georgia;"><span style="font-family: georgia;">How the hell did people deal with life? I have a question needing answering, I google it! (Google now being a verb!) I want to tell someone something? Email! I'm looking for some pictures of questionable moral value?! I google it again! (Questions and pictures sometimes go hand in hand, folks.)</span><br style="font-family: georgia;"><br style="font-family: georgia;"><span style="font-family: georgia;">I'm proud to be part of this technological era. I grew up in the great state of New York and first discovered this wondrous 'World Wide Web' waaay back in 1995. My family had just gotten our first household computer, a Pentium 90. This thing had the powerhouse processing power of a modern-day palm pilot. (And that's being generous.) I discovered Napster and Yahoo, online encyclopedia's and fart joke compendiums! I was in heaven.</span><br style="font-family: georgia;"><br style="font-family: georgia;"><span style="font-family: georgia;">And then technology just took off. I'm typing my first blog on a horrendously outdated Core 2 Duo, whose graphics card has more memory than my family's good ol' Gateway of '95. I'm astounded by recent innovations in Solid State Drives and Core i7 technology.
